During this one hour class, Randy will highlight some of the steps he uses for successful journal sketching as a prelude to his longer journaling workshop. He will show us how to keep it loose and lifelike with waterproof ink and watercolour washes.

Ink should be waterproof so a watercolour wash does not make the linework run.
Extra fine fountain pen nib with waterproof ink, but any technical pen will do as well.
Watercolour paper, 140lb with a hot press texture.
