Laszlo Zsoka

Laszlo Zsoka was born in Hungary in 1991 and studied at the University of Fine Arts in Budapest in 2015, graduating in 2021. Laszlo's passion lies in painting people, cafés and crowded streets but enjoys painting everything and uses a fresh dynamic mode, his style being influenced by numerous artists he admires.

Laszlo has experience of teaching art classes at both the Modul Art Academy and at the Art school Az Asztalom. Laszlo has held successful solo exhibitions in Budapest and has taken part in the Fabriano in Aquarello International Watercolour exhibition, the 4th Watercolour Biennale in Belgrade exhibition and in the 22nd Hungarian Landscape Biennale Exhibitions where he took 3rd place. Laszlo also organises many Art camps, like Zamárdi Art Camp and Anna Grand Hotel Art Camp.

From 2020, the largest Hungarian art supplier became Laszlo's official partner, where he has designed his own watercolour paper block under the name of Munkácsy brand.

Les spent much of his life as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Musician and only really took the plunge into professional Art in his late 40's after discovering the Pastel Medium.

He became the first Ambassador for Canson Papers in the UK representing them at all major Art shows and is also an Associate artist for Unison Pastels and Panpastel plus and associate member of the "Pastel Society of America".

Les specialises in teaching the Art of painting, creating light, energy and movement in painting, avoiding accurate representation and aim to help students find a freedom of mark making to aid development as an individual artist.

Les produced his first book last year and has a YouTube Channel with over 1.4 Million views so far and 14,000 subscribers. He has a passion for pastels and loves to teach students his techniques and share the knowledge he has gained so far.

Lilian Arbex

Brazil

As a Brazilian Contemporary Artist, Lilian has developed a career as a watercolourist, an experimental engraving and biochemist artist for the last two decades. She works as a watercolour teacher and is reponsible for the International Watercolor Society as a Country Head - Brazil and has played a significant role as Cultural Director of ABA - Associação Brasileira de Aquarela e da Arte sobre Papel.

Her artworks are part of private, corporate and governmental institutions’ collections as well as museums in São Paulo State (Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo), Rio de Janeiro State (Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro) and International Watercolor Museum in Fabriano, Italy.

Liz Chaderton

Liz works mainly in watercolour, but also experiments with printing techniques, particularly lino cutting. Her inspiration comes from animals and plants and she has been exhibiting work since 2009. A selection of her paintings are published by Artko, Artwall and Wraptious. Her first book, 'Painting watercolours on canvas' was published in 2019.

Margaret Glass is recognised as one of the leading Pastellists of today. She is a past Vice-President of La Société des Pastellistes de Françe and a member of the English Pastel Society. In 1992 she was awarded the title 'Maitre Pastellist' by La Société des Pastellistes de Françe, only the eleventh artist to receive this distinction. In recent year she has also built up a growing reputation as a talented oil painter, able to capture the light with the same facility as in her pastels.

Marvin Chew

Originally from Malaysia, Marvin is a watercolour artist based in Singapore and has been teaching workshops for 10 years. Marvin is well known for his vibrant watercolours depicting rural villages and urbanscapes of South East Asia. He has held many solo exhibitions in Singapore and participated in many shows both locally and internationally such as the International Watercolour Masters in the UK.

Marvin's works have featured in art books and magazines such as Splash 17 and 19 and The Art of Watercolour and his paintings can be found in private and corporate collections globally.

Matt Gibbons

Matt Gibbons is a painter and street artist who uses watercolor and ink to capture scenes from around the world. He specialises in on-location painting and observational sketching as a way of examining different locations, cultures and people. He started painting in 2018 following a career in international aid and uses a characteristic loose style of black ink and splashes of color to capture the immediacy and rawness of many of the locations he visits.

Max Panks

Max is a London based artist and actor who started his career as a watercolour landscape artist in January 2017. He has always nurtured a passion for drawing and portraiture from an early age but stepped away from his love of visual art to rain as an actor in 2010.

Now Max creates beautiful watercolour landscape art as a compliment to the destinations that life takes him. In 2022 he began teaching his style in group online workshops to help us find our way with watercolour.
