Having graduated with a 1st class honours degree in fine art and then taught as a primary school teacher, Ian has been a professional artist over the last 20 years. With a popular and unique style, Ian has featured in 12 solo shows, 50 group shows and currently has work exhibiting in over 30 Galleries across England and Scotland.
Iris Babao-Uy

Philippines
A former piano major student from the Philippines, Iris has developed a passion for watercolour and soft pastels and regularly teaches floral and still life painting. She has participated in several group exhibits for watercolour in Asia as well as soft pastel group shows in the Philippines. Iris is known to be a generous teacher when it comes to sharing her experience and learnings in her own style of watercolour painting. Her affiliations include International Watercolour Society of the Philippines / Philippine Guild of Watercolorists, and Philippine Pastel Artists.
Iulia Carchelan

from
Moldova
Iulia comes from Moldova and "met" watercolour at a very young age as her father was also a watercolour artist. She then went on to study at the University of Fine Arts in Romania.
Iulia's inspiration comes from nature, which is boundless and in her paintings where you will see a very calm, dreamlike ambience.
She has participated in many national and international exhibitions and contests (Romania, China, Turkey, France, USA) since the tender age of 12. Many of her artworks are in personal collections in Moldova, Romania, USA, France, Turkey, Belgium, Italy and Russia.
Jane Betteridge

Jane is an accomplished watercolour artist and qualified adult education tutor whose inspiration is drawn from the landscape: from countryside to seaside. Jane has demonstrated at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Her book, Watercolours Unleashed, was a best seller. Dynamic Watercolours, her 2nd book, was published in November 2018 and is currently launching in China. Jane regularly holds workshops at her studios in both Ashby de la Zouch and St Ives.

Javid Tabatabaie

Javid is an Iranian Master of watercolour excelling in landscape painting. The colours in his pieces are always vibrant and, along the superb use of contrast, lighting and shadows, he manages to recreate the scenes he paints in an evocative and mysterious key. Javid has won many prizes and his exhibitions have been held in many Countries all over the world including Russia, Albania, Switzerland and China. Javid holds workshops as a Watercolour teacher, and he is also one of the jurists for the International Watercolour competition.
Jayson Yeoh

Malaysia
Jayson Yeoh is a self-taught watercolour artist from Malaysia. He is an avid travel painter who spends his free time sketching during his travels. He has exhibited in both local and international shows and won several awards in International watercolour competitions. He has been a judge for IWS and his work has been published in the Watercolour Artist Magazine. Jayson is a member of The Malaysia Watercolour Society, Singapore Watercolour Society and the Penang Watercolour Society, and has recently been awarded Signature Status by the Missouri Watercolour Society, the National Watercolour Society, USA and the American Watercolour Society.
Jeff Carter

Jeff is a professional House Portrait artist and runs both online and live workshops in sketching and painting and has quite a following on social media. He is a self taught artist who learnt most of his techniques from online classes and YouTube.
Originally focussing on watercolour landscapes he started sketching in pen and has a passion for homes, buildings and architecture. Jeff is driven by simplicity, originality and having fun to find the character in his subjects. His teaching style is relaxed, encouraging and full of simple tips.
Jeremy Ford

Jeremy Ford lives in West Yorkshire, U.K. and has over thirty five years of teaching experience. He studied at the Graphic Design at Southport College of Art and Illustration at Harrow College of Art, London and has been a professional Artist and Illustrator since then, working on a wide variety of books, magazines, and greeting cards. He undertakes commissions in all paint media and has done work for The Royal Horticultural Society, Bradford Exchange Limited Edition Plates, RCA Records, The British Tourist Authority and American Express Travel Guides, amongst many others.
Jeremy has made many DVDs on painting in watercolour, pastel, and gouache, and contributed to numerous art books. He is in regular demand as a teacher and demonstrator and has a Certificate in Education. He demonstrates painting at many popular art events for example has demonstrated for St. Cuthbert's Paper Mill, the makers of Bockingford and Saunders Waterford watercolour papers, and was Senior Tutor and Principal UK Demonstrator for the Michael Wilcox School of Colour, and I frequently demonstrate for the S.A.A. Jeremy can also be seen on the painting and Drawing channel.
