WHAT YOU WILL COVER

In this fun and informative workshop, Liz will walk you through how to paint this stunning nest composition, step by step.

From a tiny song bird’s nest to the untidy stalks’ one perched high on a chimney, we are fascinated by nests. The symbolism of nests is just beautiful – they are meant to represent all the love and warmth, enthusiasm and commitment it takes to create the happiest of homes.

You will paint a beautiful nest in layers of glowing watercolour covering many skills including loose washes, glazing layers, using masking fluid and adding final details to pull the painting together. After developing the nest, you will (of course) add beautiful eggs to provide a focal point. You can make these eggs any colour you wish.
