Using the reference photograph for inspiration you will turn it into a painting by leaving out or adding to various elements such as detail, colour and light. Using watercolours, allowing the paints to blend and merge on the paper and adding some dynamism by the addition of acrylic ink.

• Good quality watercolour paper stretched if less than 300lb. I’m using Saunders Waterford, high white, 300lb with a ‘not’ surface. Size 38 x 38cm square
• A selection of watercolour brushes in various sizes including a large wash brush, a rigger and a flat brush for lifting out. • Watercolour paints in:-
