Materials Required • 29cm square of watercolour paper (I’m using Saunders Waterford 300lb with a ‘not’ surface)

• Watercolour paint: Quinacradone gold, shadow green or perylene green, vandyke brown, or burnt umber

• Schmincke gold bronzing powder or a gold gouache or acrylic paint

• FW Acrylic ink in burnt umber

• Windsor & Newton granulation medium

• Pipette

• Masking fluid and small applicator brush

• Selection of other brushes (I’m using numbers 2, 6 and 10 round and a rigger size 0

• PVA glue

• Cocktail stick

• Tweezers

• 2 Milk bottle tops

• Black waterproof pen

• The brown seeds from ‘Honesty seed heads’ (about 20)

(If no seed heads, paint a piece of watercolour paper brown and then punch some holes out of it to represent the seeds)
