WHAT YOU WILL COVER

Create more textures and learn more digital techniques.

In this long course, Carne will work with a portrait of Billie Eilish (reference photo to be sent day before the workshop), creating a series of elaborate motifs using inks and watercolour paints mixed with vodka and tea. He will then combine some of these patterns and elements digitally to create brightly coloured textured images suitable for you to apply to a number of products you might want to create for yourself or sell as gifts in the future.

Having spent the last 20 years working in the personalised product industry, the host John will also explain how you can create desirable items and sell them to make money - without needing to spend any money yourself!

The course will be a mix of traditional methods and digital techniques that when combined will give you wonderful textured patterns. The course will be free flowing and exciting - with a little bit of product marketing thrown in. No previous experience is necessary, we will just be finding out how to get interesting effects from very simple materials in a quickfire and fun way.
